Summary
ZOD-MOHSV is an nonionic hydrophobic polymer material, formulated to be used in oil-base mud system to increase plastic viscosity (i.e. structural viscosity) and yielding point and to exhibit good blocking-off effect. ZOD-MOHSV also forms a compact filter cake on the surface of leakage layer, thus preventing leakage and protecting the formation. In addition, ZOD- MOHSV has found wide applications in diesel oil-, mineral oil-and synthetic-base drilling fluids.
Usage range
The high shear viscosity efficiency and dosage of this product exhibit a simple linear proportional relationship, dosage can be determined by customer’s formula design. Recommended dosage is 0.1%-2.0% by weight of total recipe. Customers can use it combine with other kinds of thickeners, according to the requests of production, storage, construction and film formation, to meet rheological properties requires.
