Product Description
The product is mainly a mixture of high polymer and suspended liquid. Easy to store and use.
The heavy crude oil drag reducing agent is suitable for long-distance transmission pipeline of heavy crude oil, and it is suitable to obtain higher transport rate/drag reduction effect by injecting more drag reducer. Normally filling concentration≥40ppm. By adding a small amount of drag reducer (ppm level) to the pipeline, the physical effect can reduce the extended range frictional resistance, finally achieve the purpose of increasing the pipeline transportation capacity and reducing the pipeline operation pressure. The performance of drag reducing agent is greatly affected by the pipeline work conditions. The increase rate of drag reducing agent tested by the manufacturer only represents the data of the drag reducing agent on the manufacturer's experimental pipeline. The actual value should be based on the local test data.
Application Method
This product can be applied to most heavy crude oil long-distance pipelines (generally Reynolds number is more than 1000 and less than 3000). Users need to provide the manufacturer with specific parameters of oil pipeline for simple calculation.
The heavy crude oil drag reducing agent is injected into the pipeline quantitatively through plunger pump, the injection point should on the back end of oil pump and as close as possible to the outbound . For multi-pipelines, the injection point should be selected at the back of the pipelines junction point. This can promote the drag reducer’s better performance .
The heavy crude oil drag reducer cannot be sheared by high shear equipment (such as gear pump, emulsifying machine etc.), otherwise its stable structure will be damaged.
Storage And Handling
The storage condition of this product shall be cool and dark. The best storage condition: the temperature shall be higher than 0℃, and the storage environment shall be protected from sunlight.
This product is packed in IBC container barrel, 1000L/barrel. Compliance with transport specifications.
