PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Basic Zinc Carbonate is used as a hydrogen sulfide scavenger in both water and oil base drilling fluids. It helps remove the hazard of dangerous H₂S gas escaping to the surface and lessens the possibility of hydrogen embrittlement occurring on downhole tubular. Particularly, it is effective in an alkaline environment, when the pH achieves 10 to 11.

APPLICATION METHOD

Add Basic Zinc Carbonate in a concentration of 6.0 to 14.0 kg/m³ to any active system.Mix the fluid slowly through a jet mixer or sift the powder slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

PACKAGE

(1) 25kg bags or according to customer’s requirement.

(2) Avoid extreme pressure or prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep bag closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
